It really is a tunic style, but I thought it looked much better tucked in, don't you?
It looks pretty dorky with it not tucked in! A completely different look.
One of the reason that I bought this top was because I loved its label (being comfy was an added plus!).
Not because it's a "name brand" — I don't much go in for those, but because I'm always on the lookout for cool labels.
So what was so special about this label? My mom's name is Suzie (short for Suzanne), and she was the one who got me hooked on saving clothing labels. She would make these pillows out of the ones she collected. Each pillow was unique and the labels she used would reflect the person she was making the pillow for. My pillow had a Crazy Horse label on it to commemorate the time I rode a crazy horse as a geology student on field camp.

Love, love, love the pillow and the story behind it, nice outfit also!
ReplyDeleteI like the blue graphic prints of your tunic and you are right, it does look better tucked in, especially with a cardigan. However, I also like it outside, maybe with a bright blue, long statement necklace?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog.

Great tunic top, K. And the pillow - it's just wonderful with all the memories. Thanks for sharing it all with Visible Monday!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree! The tunic looks better tucked in! Glad to see that there are other persons than me that wears the lovely color blue! It deserves more love!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea to make a pillow using the tags!
ReplyDeleteLove your look today! I actually like the shirt out...relaxed & comfy! :) Looks great either way, really!
LOVE that pillow - what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think the top looks just as cute untucked as it does tucked. Either way, you're rocking it!
Well I think that's the coolest thing ever...making things out of clothing tags. I don't think I've seen that before. Your mom was very creative to match the tags up with the personalities! Debbie @ ilovemylemonadelife.com
ReplyDeleteYes, best untucked! Takes ten years and ten pounds off. Really valuable lesson ... thanks for the reminder. You look great!
ReplyDeleteI remember those pillows!
